This error occurs when you try to add domain as add-on domain in your on cPanel Hosting Account. This error clearly states that the domain you are trying to add in your hosting control panel is not pointing to the server on which you are hosted.
Now, the Solution for this error is very easy. You can resolve this error in two different ways.
1). Change Domain Name-servers : You should change the domain name-servers which are pointing to the server on which you want to add it . For Example, You are getting this error in our Hostic Control Panel, Then you should point your domain to our domain name-servers which are ns1.hostic.in and ns2.hostic.in And then try again adding your add-on domain..
For Hostic members: if you're still facing the error simply provide us your add-on domains we will manually add your domains in your Cpanel.
2). Allow Remote Domains in WHM ( Root Access required ) : Second option is that you can change remote domain settings in Web Host Manager Panel ( WHM ) and allow them to add as add-on domains. For this you will need root access and it is not recommended by any server admin as it may create a Major security problem.
You can allow creation of parked/add-on domains through
- Login to WHM as root
- Go to Tweak Setting
- Check "Allow Remote Domains" Under Domain Section.
That's it.
